Akiko Yosano (1878–1942), one of Japan’s most celebrated poets, writers, and thinkers, will have her collection Tangled Hair “Midaregami” (『乱れ髪』) published in an English translation by Tangerine Press. I created and contributed a single original artwork that appears inside the book — a piece depicting a woman inspired by Tangled Hair.
